Toshiba’s 36A60 is a 36-inch TV with a high-contrast picture tube, a 3-line digital comb filter, a wideband video amplifier, a black-level expander and color temperature control. This model also features a special kind of dual-tuner picture-in-picture PIP function that lets you view six channels at once. The 36A60 boasts several connectivity options, including a set of component video inputs for hookup to similarly outfitted DVD players. There’s also an S-video input, two A V inputs and one set of A V outputs. You can label the video inputs according to the connected devices. A lockout feature, meanwhile, can block the use of any external sources a handy way to keep kids from playing video games . This TV includes an MTS stereo SAP tuner.
